Department of Political Science
About
The department of Bodo was established in the year 2012. The bodo department is one of the integral department of Jonai Girls' College. It has been bearing a great responsibility and rendering continuous services in housing the bodo language and literature. Bodo is the only tribal language in the 8(eight) schedule of the Indian Constitution and it is introduce in the college to cater the needs of the bodo speaking tribes residing in this area.
Course Outcome
Students become familiar with the Bodo literature & Linguistics which in turn paves the way in their further studies:
1. Students can opt Bodo as a medium of examination at different national competitive examination.
2. Students can feel the pride on their culture and developed sense of responsibility towards their ways of living and practices.
